The long road

They say life is what you make it. Just grab your shit and make the best out of it. Make it to the final destination and row that boat ashore.

The road to the finish line can sometimes seem long and brutal. It takes turns you never would have expected and sometimes it has a tendency to stop at dead ends, forcing you to make a choice. Either you stay and stare into the same brick wall all your life, or you go back the same way you got there, collecting and evaluating the different road signs you left behind waiting to get acknowledged. Expecting a road without a curve is like saying a life never ends. Once in a while there is going to be a sudden left turn and everything ends at some point. Life then, is not about what happens when that time comes, more than it is about how you got there, what relationships you shared, your discoveries and your happiness. Cause ultimately, this is what makes a life worth living.
